The first iPhone was invinted in 2007. It is a smart phone with a touch screen made by Apple. It has a stainless steal back and a glass screen. Its has a 3.5 inch screen which is heat sensitive. It doesnt have a camera but it is also an iPod. Its a new kind of smart phone because it has apps which are applications that do different things. For example there are GPS apps, there are apps for different games, there is a YouTube app, and many others.
The second iPhone released was the Iphone 3G. It was released in 2008 with some new features the last didnt have. The back is no longer stainless steal, it got a camera, its faster with out getting any bigger, the screen has a better quality now and the headphones plug in is now usable with all headphones. Its side buttons (volume + and -) and top buttons (lock button) are now metal. It also has a built in GPS and it is much faster than the original.
The third iPhone was the iPhone 3Gs. This one came out in 2009 and yet again it was much faster than the phone before it and it still has more new features and changes. It has a new OS processer and is twice as fast as the 3G. Also its screen now includes a new oil resistant coating to previent finger prints and smuges. Its battery life is longer too and it can hold more memory. Apple did all this with out making the phone any bigger it pretty much looks the same as the 3G.

It has the best screen in the world with the highest resolution. It has a whooping 960 by 640 pixels on its retina screen. It has 326 pixels per inch which is four times more pixels as the last phone that only had 163 pixels per inch. And it's camera isnt to shabby ether shooting 720p video at 30 frames per second, and it has a 5 megapixel sensor which isnt the best in the world but it can go toe to toe with phones that have better cameras and take just as good of pictures. Another new feature is it's facetime which is video chatting on the phone.
